As sad as it is to say, nicotine must have some sort of therapeutic quality for me. I've read the statistic regarding the correlation of smoking and mental illness. It doesn't surprise me at all. I wonder if there is any scientific research which explains why. I'm an information ***** so I should look that up!

I've tried quitting with vapor cigs before and they helped a bit but I wasn't able to get a big enough drag from them, and they always left me "wanting". My sons friend recently got one of the vape boxes which release a TON of vapor. He let me try it and it was very satisfying. I plan to buy one soon and it just might be exactly what I need.

I look forward to your later post and story.
Nicotine works like a neuromodulator, much like a teacher telling her pupils to focus on their work and keep quiet. It does this (probably) by influencing the hypothalamus, the control centre of all subconscious and automatic (and balancing) behaviour, and directly the muscles.
