<font color="#000088">That must have been really hard to give him up! But you did the best thing for him, and a really good thing for someone else in need of him in the future! I know you'll miss him dearly, and I'm sure he'll miss you to! But atleast you know he's safe, and he will be safe from now on!
I just had a bad experience trying to put my dog up for adoption, and it ended up putting both our lives in danger!
I was sent a fraudulent check for his adoption fee, and his shipping fee, and because I would not cash it, and fall for their scam! They called me and threatened me, that if I didn't, and then send them $2,000.00 by today, that my life would be in danger! I turned over everything to the police, including the check, and their investigating it! Then deleted the add on petfinder.com that I had placed for him!
I couldn't imagine what would have happened to my pet, if they would have got the money and the pet, when all they really wanted was the money!
So, what I'm really trying to point out is that what you did, was the best thing to insure the safety of your pet. Even though it was very hard for you.
Atleast you know he is in a safe place, and will be cared for properly! Kudos!
