There are other risks to consider with the birth control pill however. Anytime you go mucking about with your hormones there are repercussions. Do some research before you make this decision, b/c once you make it, it takes time to change it. Some women never totally recover from hormonal changes. This isn't a "simple" choice about periods. . .there is much more to consider.
