Yes! It's actually a journal I found at a local store. It's very calming to me to color.
I started out a few months ago with a preschool coloring book that were very basic pictures, that had the color by numbers thing in them. That way I didn't have to put any mental processing into it. It was just somethings to calm the stress in my mind. I've bought adult coloring books that are more in the simple side as far as picture design.
Not sure the science/brain thing behind this, but when I'm trying to sort something out it helps me. It helps me when I can't get out and I'm trying to find something productive to do, if I have nothing else.
I've done so much reading about the brain and memory storage. There is something about the left brain right brain thing and creativity. Can't really remember specifically but I do know I enjoy it and it helps me.
