Don't get me wrong. Of course I still have traits of bpd but I'm wondering if either the meds are controlling my moods of bipolar and bpd or maybe I didn't really have bpd but simply traits.
Just a random thought I had. Either way I am surprised how well I am doing

I used to be diagnosed with BPD but my current psychiatrist scrapped it and diagnosed Bipolar instead. The symptoms often mimmic each other, especially if you are rapid cycling or mixed. 1.5 years down the track and my psychiatrist is certain I don't have BPD and do have Bipolar. The new treatment has been much more effective and less stigmatised than when I was diagnosed BPD. Saying that I certainly do have some BPD traits but I think they come from the Complex PTSD stuff that came from being abused badly as a child.
