It is always good to hear of positivity both in and out of this place. You have a reason to be proud of yourself. It may be daunting at times, but it sounds like you will hav some supports. I am quite happy for you.

As for the worker. I think it would be appropriate to text him a message along the lines of 'did your hear I am moving on?' I would leave anything more than that at his option to reply and initiate.
