How old are you if you don't mind me asking? I was under impression you are quite young. Don't give up, we are never too old.

I know it's not easy to change work place but you mentioned you work totally alone in the office. Would working in a more vibrant place be a better idea? I honestly would have very hard time working in a quiet environment with no one to talk to. It sounds depressing for me ( I know others like it, I am just speaking for myself). Can you stay in the same field but go to a different environment?
