I always ask people what kind of therapy are they into because therapist' intervention & attitude strongly depends on their views and their therapeutic approach.
It sounds like motivational-coach thing which is not the classic dynamic therapy.
Did you set goals in therapy? What were they?
How long are u into the therapy with this therapist?
It also sounds like she may be acting out of her own
fantasy about herself as a therapist, if you agree with her idea, she'll be "A Good Therapist",
which is not what YOU need.
If your main goal was; "help getting married & 'good' job" then maybe she's trying to tell you that she believes in you, she believes she can help you achieve what
