Would you say your memory is good? Better of worse than most people, as far as you can tell?
Do you think ASD plays any role? Do you think anxiety makes your memory retrieval (or storage) worse?
How many unrelated things can you keep in working memory (say for an hour or two)? How is your episodic memory (memories of childhood and memories of events and details during the past week or month)?
My memory is not that good, actually quite bad, especially not when it comes to arbitrary (formal) information. This is quite typical for those with schizomania (schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type), which I have.

Mania kills cells. Brain cells die. Memories become more reduced conceptually, making more efficient use of limited means. Memories shape our reality. Our memories are more or less split in two by abstractions, conceptual reductions. Mood states with memories, concepts, attached. Memories of pain and those of joy. It causes instability, changeability. Fearing that will leave an emptiness between pain and joy and a greater divide.
