Erin came home from hospital today. She's in mega pain and mega messed on the pain meds. I think being home will do her a world of good so she can begin to relax and not have to deal with the uncaring and unkind staff at the hospital.

I'm completely appalled at their lack of compassion. Even though we had complete trust in the doctor, and he was wonderful.....there was only one other nurse on the floor that was worth her weight in gold, the rest of them were either incompetent or just plain didn't give a damn....
Why do folks get into healthcare when they can't seem to show the compassion that is so needed and deserved???

Ok, I'm off my soap box now...LOL. She's home and let the healing begin!!
