I was talking to my friends last night about how we boomers were the first generation to grow up with television, and how much TV has changed over the years.
Now, such programs as Leave It to Beaver, Beverly Hillbillies, Star Trek, seem so silly and poorly done, but I was so excited as a child to watch those programs! I remember I couldn't wait each week to see The Flintstones!
It's interesting that, as we have aged, TV has become more sophisticated and the old programs seem so silly. I guess we have evolved in sophistication as the programming has evolved.
