I can't really answer your question. I'm an older person who has struggled with transgender-type feelings my whole life. For a good share of my life the term "transgender" hadn't even been invented yet. So, although I imagine I know a lot about being, or at least feeling like one is, transgender, I'm not at all familiar with all of the terminology that is in use nowadays. So I will need to leave it to others, here on the Transgender forum, to suggest some appropriate terminology to you.

What I will just suggest to you is that there are many resting places along the gender-identity continuum. And wherever you find yourself coming to rest, it's all good. (By the way, I've never felt comfortable around men either... especially groups of men...
