I usually listen to music from the 1940s. Right now I'm listening to the Merry Macs. I also have Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman.

Often that kind of music does not have lyrics. I also listen to an opera CD ("Cecilia Bartoli"). That is the only opera that I have tried, but I like it. I agree that lyrics are distracting when you try to work and think.
