I know trileptal and tegretol(sp?) are in the same fam but what IS the difference? I ask because I'm on trileptal now and after about 4 months it has lost its jazz. I have an appointment with the nurse tomorrow and I want to go in with some idea of what I want to try next and I thought of tegretol.

So if anyone has experience with it or knows the difference then please enlighten me! Also any ideas of what I should try next would help. My biggest problem right now is depression. Also tried lithium and lamictal before too and that's not an option.
