You might even come to resent others in your life for not recognizing the severity. How much confidence do you have that if you told the true severity, they would be accepting, nonjudging, and helpful?

I'm not sure it's a problem of my confidence in t, but our relationship. I feel like I can't let go of my role as a therapist in session, and I see t as more of a colleague. That topic may have to take some priority at my next appointment.
I don't want others to know the severity of my problems. I'm afraid of worrying them. Then I feel guilty for not being honest with my loved ones, but I regret telling them my true feelings.
