We have neighbors up on the hill above us who have four huge dogs; three of them are Rottweilers. Over the last 13 years, since we built our house, we have had numerous issues with those big dogs, called animal control, etc. They just say to us that we should shoot them. Two weeks ago, two of their Rotts attacked our little 12 pound mutt and tore him up pretty bad. We had over $450.00 in vet bills to have him stitched up. To make matters worse, the big male Rott chased me, and the neighbor man had to help scare him away. We have had one family member chased by one of their Rotts, and then me. That Rott finally died. Now, they have an whole male Rott running with his mate, who is very territorial, and when we say something, they always say, they would never chase anyone or hurt anyone! They have promised to come to our house three different times to see what their dogs did to little Petey, but never showed up. We have five grandkids who come here, and our neighbors have 5 little ones from 18 months to 8 years old. These dogs think that our land is theirs. I have told these people that I am afraid of them, and the neighbor told them he wanted fence up to protect his kids. Does anyone in here know exactly what the Ohio fence line laws are . My next thing is to go to the main library or courthouse and find out. I am sure that we can make him fence them in. Thanks for listening to me. Two weeks have gone by, and I am still very angry at these people. Our little dog is o.k. but will have a huge bare scar where the deepest bite did not heal well.
