Yes!!! I cannot switch brands of my generic Trileptal, actually I refuse to. The brand was changed once and I got a horrible headache and did not feel well. That is my heaviest med and I don't want to mess around with it, so I tell my pharmacy to only give me that brand. The others I have some flexibility since I haven't been on them too long. Although my last refill of Effexor is different. If I have another problem with this...the pharmacy will hear about it!
The pdoc that originally prescribed my Trileptal told me to try and stick with the same brand so it has the same effect.
