As long as it's taken on a as needed basis and not regularly then you can't develop a physical dependence. I've taken it in the past and it is a good med. I've been on benzos on and off for years and never had a problem with dependancy or abuse myself. I've also been on buspar with no luck. Benzos are really the only meds that helped with my anxiety issues.
