I'm not too PC about stuff like this and I can really, really commiserate about the desire to remain a visual record of your youth.

I think you're attitude is quite healthy. I understand why I feel such body shame now, presently, but it's nothing that I felt in better days. I'd really like to have more photos of myself or old lovers as a positive reminder of happy times. I lost tens of thousands of photos and slides during a period of hospitalization. So many memories gone, wiped out. I had a couple of hundred slides scanned on a drum scanner and, miraculously, the disks and tapes were retained by a friend.

The absolute worse thing that can happen has already happened and if they get on the Internet, so what? Being naked doesn't make you a bad person, for goodness sake. Whoever passed the photos around could probably be charged with a few light misdemeanors, but that won't change anything.

I'm weird about the whole nude photo = violation, etc., thing anyway. These aren't photos taken without your knowledge, you had a good and healthy reason for wanting and there's only one bad guy/girl around.

Lord help you if someone sees naked photos of you. Because they'll have... well, they'll have seen naked photos of you and - look! A squirrel!

I'm trying to think where it 'fits' on the anger scale but I can't even get to 'somewhat annoying.' Taking out the larger and more comprehensive and compiles life scale, I can pinpoint it as 'something that happened one time,' just above 'the stale bagel that I didn't eat one time.'

My thoughts. Which are mine.
