The problem with therapy is some therapists help and others just tap dance around. Does therapy help? Yes and No. If you have the wrong therapist, it totally just wastes your time and money. If you have a good therapist, it's still expensive, but it helps. And for the most part, change happens slowly. So it's a long commitment.

If you go to a therapist for six months (twice and month), but don't do the exercises they prescribe, therapy will never do any good at all. You have to enact the changes that are recommended or those which arise from the sessions. If you don't nothing changes.
