That was great, thanks. Not too long at all. It hit all the right points. Especially about hiding the not-so-pleasant things. Guess who does that. I never talk about negative things. My s-i-l is like that and always moaning and whining. I just don't bother with her. I'm glad for this thread now because I remembered a stanza from an ancient Norse poem The Hávamál:
One's own house is best, though small it may be;
each man is master at home;
though he have but two goats and a bark-thatched hut
'tis better by far than begging.
