Sometimes it feels better to talk to a stranger rather than talk to someone we know. Its not that we trust that stranger but its just that they listen and then we won't see them again. Because we hesitate to rant to someone we know, we'd rather talk to strangers. Yes they listen, sympathize, and console us. But they don't really know who we are so we feel safe about it.
