I know we have discussed traveling to psych appointments but it seems it is usually we discuss the travel time rather than distance. I found out this week my pdoc is leaving where she currently works. She works within the same medical facility I work in. I had an appointment a few days after learning of her leaving. She said there are a few clients she hopes will follow her to the new location and I am one of them. Like I said I work for the facility she currently works at so it seems like a betrayal to follow her but I also know my mental health is more important. So how far do you travel for appointments? Her new location will be about 45 miles away.
