My pdoc was about 30 minutes away (public transport). My T is about 25 minutes away (by car - 25km).
I followed my T when she left for a new place. She first went to work at a place that was about an hour away by car (55km). That was only for about 4 months.

If you want to stay with this pdoc, then you should do that. It's not betrayal. Your health is most important. And just because you work at a place doesn't mean you have to use their services. I understand that it can feel like betrayal, but it isn't.
