It's easy for me to slide into the, "so many people have it worse" mindset and judge myself harshly. Be kinder to yourself. It's like saying someone can't be happy because someone else has it better than you do. You already feel bad enough, let yourself be okay with that at the very least.

I haven't cut in a month either, but I understand the need to cut so you don't disappear.

Did it help to write out what was going on and how you feel like you're drowning? I notice that if I journal for a little while I get some of it out of my head and can get a few things accomplished.
