when i was at school, "gym class" meant both swimming anf gym

it was a couple of times a week- and the teacher would decide what we did

(say if their was a sports day coming up), we'd do gym.

or if not, we'd swim- it all depended on teacher's choice.

you know what i mean.. their wasn't an individual "swimming" subject
