"Choked at birth" sounds like cerebral palsy, which doesn't cause lesions in your knees per se, but can cause them to be retracted and stiff. In any case...yeah, it all sounds really fishy. Not saying that none of it is true, just saying that I wouldn't let her get to you. I would take what she's saying with a big grain of salt, so to speak, because I think she knows how to get to you. Sadly, there are people who just do that kind of thing.
