Unless I'm in a major depressive episode, I get a lesser depression every month, the week before my period. It's called PMDD - premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

I've heard some types of BC can help, but I don't know which ones. When I wanted to try that I went to my family doc, but he didn't know anything about it. I've also heard the antidepressants help, and you can possibly take them only when you're depressed, not constantly.

My advice, if you're interested, would be to keep tracking any patterns you see. And when you go in about meds, go to a doc who knows MI. They should be able to point you in the right direction.
