Hugs! I got separated right after my Bipolar I diagnosis- my husband couldn't handle or accept it. That being said, I wouldn't wish the path of separation / divorce on anyone but it is possible to get through.
If I had to do it over again, I would have searched for someone who specializes in marriage counseling vs a general psychologist, which is what we saw a couple of years prior to our divorce.
You are right on the plus side- your husband is getting individual therapy for what has been a tough time for your family. I would still seek out a marriage counselor, even if he is not ready to go. It may help you better able to assess what you need to bring into the marriage.
