In reading the diagnosis criteria, I seem to exhibit every single one of the criteria... but not to the extreme that they note. For instance, idealizing a new lover can go on for years and years, rather than for a short time.

Those are the things that confuse me – reading of a criteria that is exactly what I experience... but without the longevity or severity.
