I use such thoughts as "flags" to look closer at what I am upset and angry about and why. The fear/upset/anger have to be expressed in some way and thoughts such as yours are certainly better than their actions :-) but looking at what is causing the feelings and what can be done about the actual situation to "fix" it so it doesn't come again for that reason is more entertaining/challenging for me. I learned a lot of how to do that though working in therapy.
