A label comes with a well known narrative. My therapist says what we think is all stories, so go ahead and make a story that allows me to feel stronger, or any other helpful quality.
You sound self-reflective, which will be a big asset. With a dx that explains your experiences, it could be time to seek effective treatments and other persons living with this same type of awarenss or perception. Self acceptance, pride and love can help with feelings of confidence. Get feedback from people who love and appreciate you as you are. This is still a distressing time, but after a useful diagnoses, the healing path can begin. Lots of big hugs!
