I don't suppose you are ADD by any chance? I've done the same thing since I was a kid. Psych meds seemed to make it worse and lord knows age hasn't helped. Once they put me on meds for my ADD it has gotten better. Apparently my brain just moves faster than my mouth. By the time I speak it's on to the next thing and what I wanted to say is just gone.
