I am incredibly accident prone. I've had quite a few trips to the ER because I am an complete and utter clod. It is a running joke with friends and family.

For example: I broke my finger when I was trying to put a beater back into the mixer. I had turned off the mixer, but I had forgotten to unplug it. It slipped and turned on and I heard a crunch.
