as far as I know you cant disable the time stamp. (cant find any info on it in FAQ). I just always thought it was part of how this site keeps posts in order of when they are posted. (theres a time stamp on every post just above the members name on all the posts.) sometimes though the time stamps on the posts dont match when the post is seen on the boards. example when someone sends their post in to a moderator before it goes on the boards the time stamp reflects what time the poster ...wrote ....the post according to their own locations time zone. but it may appear at any time on the boards if you decide to send in the post to a moderator first. even though some of my posts that I send in to a moderator appears on the boards a few minutes to hours later the post still appears in order of the time stamp in reference to other posts.

my point just a way to keep all the posts in order of when they were posted.

i have been on other sites where they did not use time stamping and you end up with all the posts out of order. you may end up with a post wrote two minutes ago way down pages later and one wrote 30 minutes ago at the top and one wrote an hour ago in the middle of the page somewhere.

I love how psych central has the posts in order of when they were wrote. its easier to follow the train of the threads this way. no hunting for which was first who is talking about what so wheres the answer to this in that post and well you get the point.
Thanks for this!
