No, actually - everyone's mandatory insurance covers inpatient treatment in my country. It is to lessen the amount of people in inpatient and to shorten the time people are inpatient. Or if people only need 1 thing about inpatiency (yeah, I just made up that word ) this team provides that without taking the patient away from his life the way inpatient would. Also, say you're afraid to go to the grocery store by yourself, it would be possible for someone from this team to go with you - not just for exposure therapy, but also as long as necessary so you have vegetables at home.
