Lately, I've been obsessing over keeping my home tidy. No, I am not overly concerned about washing and scrubbing. I just want the place neat and tidy. I dust and vacuum everyday, ensure my dishes are done as soon as I use them, and ensure everything is in the right place. It is more about being 'ready' in case company shows up. To this end, I even always have coffee and cream available. When it comes to placement of things in my home I suppose this is where I do show my obsessing. I spend a lot of time ensuring things are in order, symmetrical, and attractively balanced apart (maybe that is the artist in me, not sure). To some extent, I thinks this is affected in part by boredom.

my obsession is amusement park queue times and stats (never been to an amusement park, never much care to ever go to one)
that never stops me a couple of times a day going round the diffrent parks.. check the queue times, checking the rides that are open, the rides that are closed, checking the crowd calendar, checking the FAQ section (for the 50th time)
how does it affect my life
apart from intensifying my feelings of agoraphobia, it's just annoying
you don't want to do it, but after you've checked all the parks in the morning, you have to do it again in the afternoon, then again in the evening (several times)
but i'm trying not to do it this week.. i've tried to tell myself that i know that their are rides closed for refurbishment, and they are going to be closed for a few months- so don't look.
still do though
