Although I haven't talked about my traumas to this therapist and I am dreading it cuz I feel it is such a sensitive topic that I might re-traumatize myself.

So how many sessions before you decide this is not the right fit etc. .. cuz I find it very hard to come up with stuff to talk about.. or maybe I am just out of words? But I know I have unresolved trauma.
Have all your previous Ts done only talk therapy with you? If so, maybe you should find a T who does EMDR or SE. Somatic experiencing (SE) is a method of resolving trauma without retraumatizing yourself. Same with EMDR, I think. My T told me I had years of talk therapy which didn't help. We talk a lot about what I'm experiencing in my body and how to move to release trauma.
Thanks for this!
