By the way, I presented a paper at a conference a couple of days ago and I guess it went okay. I'll ask someone who was in the audience what he thought, when I get back to work on Monday. It was a very good conference at any rate, and I enjoyed it a lot. There's been a lot of upheaval and uncertainty and unpleasantness and possibly other things starting with "u" at work recently, so I needed something like this (which is not even part of my job as such though it is part of my profession, if that makes sense.)
Now I'm in London, going to a wedding this afternoon, and then flying back home tomorrow. Slightly wilting Crocus.
