Most of the peope in my support group have concurrent addiction issues - narcotics, booze, gambiling, sex, etc. It all falls under Risk Taking behaviour which is a hallmark of BP. Addictions also arise out of a need to self medicate. They likely arise before our diagnoses and prescriptions are made. My own addiction is to aadventure.
