Yes, he slapped me as hard as he could. That made me feel better about my decision to break up with him.
It's so hard to see the negatives at first because people are on their best behavior in the beginning.
Also with him, my great aunt had a torturous marriage, and she warned me upon getting to know him that he reminded her of my great uncle.
That also scared me away.
Of course cheating was weak and very wrong of me. But, I really did it out of low self esteem. The guy even threw my underwear out of the dorm room window, lol.
