Sorry to hear you are hurting.
My son had a similar story only he was plagued by anxiety.
I won't pretend to understand the particulars of your situation but here is what he did to control what little he could.
1) he got in touch with the counseling center at school and made an emergency appointment.
2) they documented his anxiety so when he did fail his classes, the counseling office could say he was trying his best to make the situation right. He was allowed to stay in school after a successful appeal. He also got back his financial aid because of the extenuating circumstances.
3) he saw a counselor at the college once a week for the rest of time he was in college. It was free and he needed it.
He did the things he could control. It took him longer to graduate, and his GPA is horrible but he finished.
