Thus far I have told very few people about my diagnosis. Other than my husband the only two family members I have told are my mother and my twin sister. I have not, however, told them about my suicide attempt, which is what led to the diagnosis.

My mom (who is a therapist) was supportive and said it explained to her a lot of the difficult times we've had in our relationship in the past. But she is kind of treating me like a child now instead of an adult. Like now she feels like she has to be delicate with me. Did anyone else experience this?

My sister was completely shocked. She hasn't spoken to me since I told her and she's usually texting me all the time. It's very strange.

I'm kind of wishing I hadn't told them yet. It's seriously stressing me out.

What kind of reactions have you guys experienced when telling people? I still have other people I feel I need to tell because it explains some of my bizarre behavior.
