It doesn't sound like you have a therapeutic relationship with your pdoc. That's usually a good time to end, although be sure that's how you consistently feel (sometimes I get irritated with mine and think I should see someone else but it's always situational).
Your therapist should not have a negative response and if she does then she's a problem as well. You have the right to choose your providers.
You don't owe them anything for the financial assistance when you needed it. I feel extra loyalty to my therapist's office for the same but have to remind myself that I still can move on or do whatever is right for me and it's not supposed to feel guilty (although I sort of would).
