It would be useful if we had a way to know if people in our friends list had posted a thread. Similar to the feature on facebook whereby you can see when viewing your friend list '1 new post' etc.

I like to comment on friends posts if I can and at present there doesn't seem an easy way to see if they've posted other than scanning the boards. Correct me if I'm wrong.
