I love the "Little House on the Prairie" books. They were what I grew up on. They were a good point on how behavior has it's consequenses & at that period of time.....families weren't worried about showing consequenses to their children.....it was a part of life. The consequenses weren't abusive....just the spoken word.

Loved it when it was made into the TV series also.....that was one of the good staple shows that was really down to earth.
