I know exactly what you're saying about food. It strikes me the most at night. Its terrible!! Just last night for example, bf and I had a big dinner and yet at around midnight, I just wanted to EAT. I had a mini bag of microwave popcorn and some cantoloupe.

I'm not sure why it strikes me at night the worst. I'll be laying in bed reading and just want to snack. I notice it more when I'm going through a rough time emotionally, and September is always a rough month for me.

I also tend to every bit of food on my plate even if I'm stuffed. Thats one thing I'm really working on, stopping when I'm full. I think part of that though is not knowing when I'll get my next meal, so when I have a meal I tend to eat it all.

I know for me, I do the "emotional eating" thing. Something in my brain makes me think I'll feel better if I eat something. I'm really trying to watch it and let the moment pass, but its hard in the evenings.

I think this topic fits here. I know food can lead to addiction. Heck, ANYTHING can lead to addiction. I'm trying to teach myself moderation and self restraint. I can do it during the day, but I falter at night.

I'm sure there are many with this issue so perhaps we can support each other in this thread, and share tips about how we made it through food cravings etc.

Fuzzy I feel ya hon!!!! I'm really trying to work on feeling better physically and it helps with the mental stuff. I think I might be getting a Pilates workout addiction.
