Thanks, travelinglady! I think they rebooted the server recently because it started working again. Anyhow, I found that I could access chat through the Chrome application on my phone instead of using the 123 FlashChat app from the Play Store. That solved my problem in the short term, then last night the app was working again. Like I said, I think they rebooted the servers recently and that did the trick.
