I focus on the various traits I admire (for example. patience), and I remind myself of why those traits are important. I then recognize that I will be in a better situation if I adopt those traits. Then, I try to apply those traits to the best of my ability. I go through that same process multiple times throughout the day, even when there is nothing else I am doing at the moment.
