Yeah, that person your husband has to work with sounds horrible. I seriously hate those sorts of people. They don't want to work with you, and then they accuse you of not doing anything. It's like, "...seriously?"

I hope your husband's boss understands. It sounds like your husband is doing the right thing by gathering evidence of his work, which is exactly what I would do in that situation.
